Yesterday, Arcata House Partnership responded to emergency flash flooding in Valley West and Blue Lake after a call from the Red Cross. Our outreach and shelter staff acted immediately—helping people evacuate flooded trailers, setting up a safe meeting space, and providing food while emergency shelter was secured.
