The explosive eruption of La Soufriere volcano has led to major transformation at beach fronts in a number of communities on the flanks of the volcano including Fancy located on the northern tip of the island. A number of residents of the community started a self help clean up exercise five weeks ago to enhance what nature has given to them, which they foresee can be developed into a recreational or tourism site.
