One of my earliest memories of Marty Stuart is when he was in his early teens, playing with Lester Flatt up in Rochester New York. He’d stand on that stage like a grown man with his cowboy hat tilted just so, wearing that mandolin out, then step off stage and start throwing a baseball with my oldest son Ronnie.
