Martin Landau as Bela Lugosi in “Ed Wood” (1994). This is one of those performances which not only took me by surprise, but lingered for a while after seeing this film. Martin was a perfect choice for portraying Bela Lugosi, masterfully capturing his tragic twilight years, including his struggle with addiction and his friendship with the eccentric filmmaker Ed Wood (Johnny Depp).
