The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and External Trade is working to establish a Labour Mobility partnership with Tuvalu. In 2024, an Intra-Pacific Labour Mobility Scheme was signed between the governments of Niue and the Solomon Islands, allowing retired nurses to work in Niue’s health sector.
