The art will tell you what it needs. Shoutout to Rick Rubin for that. But it’s true. I started this piece and throughout the process found out that it looked better upside down. Playing around with more negative space in this work making it feel light with a lot of breathing room. New learnings that I’ll take with me for future pieces for sure.
