Shane Lowry snapped at a reporter who asked him about Rory McIlroy’s Masters brilliance before ending the interview early, saying otherwise he would say “something stupid”.

Boiling after back-to-back bogeys to end his third round of the Masters, Lowry cut his interview short on Saturday while saying he wished he'd had 30 minutes to cool off.

Ending Round 3 with two bogeys, Lowry got heated afterward when the media asked about his friend Rory McIlroy's lead and ended his interview session early.
