Sean Penn has expressed that he is open to working with Woody Allen despite the child sex abuse allegations against the filmmaker.

The 89-year-old “Midnight in Paris” director has long been accused of sexual abuse by his daughter, Dylan Farrow, that occurred when she was a child. Allen has repeatedly denied his daughter’s claims — but Ronan has shown unwavering support for his sister by publicly criticizing Hollywood for routinely dismissing her claims.

Sean Penn came to Woody Allen's defense during a recent interview on "The Louis Theroux Podcast." Allen directed Penn in 1999's "Sweet and Lowdown," for which the latter earned an Oscar nomination for best actor.
