Before Maria Taylor and Mike Macdonald shared the stage at the Lombardi Trophy presentation, they were high school classmates in Georgia.

When NBC Sports anchor Maria Taylor presented the winning trophy to Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald Sunday, it was a reunion of sorts for two Centennial High alums.

When zeros were across the board and the Seattle Seahawks were winners of Super Bowl LX on Sunday night at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, two former Centennial High School (GA) classmates crossed paths on the podium for championship presentation.

Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald went to Centennial High School in Roswell. And before the big game, NBC aired an interview with NBC Sports' Maria Taylor -- who is also a Centennial High alum. The two also attended The University of Georgia.

From classmates to the Big Game.

NBC Sports host Maria Taylor made history on Sunday as the first Black woman to host a Super Bowl Pregame Show, as well as the first to present the Vince Lombardi Trophy to the champions.

The University of Georgia experienced an extremely triumphant moment during the trophy ceremony of Super Bowl LX.
