Down 9-3 late in the first half, Mills found an open Christian Kirk from 2 yards out for an easy score.
The Bills did fairly well with limiting the Texans explosive players. Nico Collins caught three passes for 55 yards, Christian Kirk caught five balls for 54 yards, and Jayden Higgins reeled in four receptions for 38 yards. Higgins and Kirk caught touchdowns.
Needless to say, the Houston Texans’ No. 1 defense lived up to its billing, which made for a long night. Buffalo saw its top-five offensive line get thrown around for four quarters, which resulted in Josh Allen taking a career-high eight sacks and 12 hits.

Davis Mills proves he belongs
Davis Mills, the third pick in round three (taken one spot after the Vikings selected Kellen Mond), has won three games in a row, beating the Jaguars, Titans, and Bills. And while he’ll likely take a seat for C.J. Stroud when the Texans face the Colts in Week 13, Mills has done enough to get the attention of the league at large.
Houston’s dominant defense sacked Josh Allen eight times and Calen Bullock forced three turnovers, with his second interception sealing the Texans’ 23-19 win over the Buffalo Bills
If the Houston Texans make the playoffs this season, they'll have to thank Davis Mills for stepping up during C.J. Stroud's absence. The Texans have been without Stroud since Nov. 2 due to a concussion.
