P HILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia 76ers got back at it on Tuesday with an NBA Cup matchup with the Orlando Magic. The Sixers entered the contest missing a number of key pieces such as Joel Embiid, Paul George, VJ Edgecombe, and Kelly Oubre Jr. which made this contest an uphill climb for Philadelphia.

The Sixers entered the game significantly short-handed, with Joel Embiid (knee), Paul George (ankle), Kelly Oubre (knee) and VJ Edgecombe (calf) all out for the game, leaving Tyrese Maxey as the team's only consistent offensive engine. He wasn't nearly what they need him to be, with 20 points on 7-of-15 shooting in 32 minutes.

With a lengthy injury report, Tyrese Maxey and the Philadelphia 76ers were blown out at home 144-103 by the Orlando Magic on Tuesday.
