When thinking about his favorite Thanksgiving memories, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow playfully poked at the Lions.
"Joe (Burrow) looked good," Flacco said after practice. "It's cool to see him out there. Obviously when you're both now taking reps, and things like that, conversations kinda happen. And just like 'how do you see this vs. that?' But yeah, Joe looked good."
CINCINNATI — Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow will play on Thursday night against the Ravens, just 69 days after undergoing surgery on his left big toe. The 28-year-old suffered a grade 3 turf toe injury. He was expected to be out until mid-December. Some thought he'd miss the entire season. Burrow never felt that way.
“I’m not gonna ever go to somebody and say ‘I’m healthy, but I don’t think I should go out there and play,’” Burrow said. “That doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. I’m not gonna live my life and play this game, scared of something happening. Yeah, something’s gonna happen. It’s football.”
