The Lowestoft RNLI lifeboat, Patsy Knight, was called to a guard vessel that had run aground on a sandbank off the Suffolk coast.
The sailboat ran aground about 75 feet north of the Flagler Beach after the boat's captain fell asleep, a fire official said.
