Major U.S. stock indexes slid on Friday as investors digested closely watched monthly employment numbers and a sharp drop in consumer sentiment.

The Dow Jones lost more than 450 points as the major indexes sold off on the stock market today. But Pinterest and Uber stocks were winners.
