By Chandini Monnappa (Reuters) -British Airways owner IAG said on Friday it would order 53 new Airbus and Boeing long-haul aircraft, in addition to an order for 18 planes it placed in March. The new order consists of 32 Boeing 787-10 aircraft for British Airways and 21 Airbus A330-900neo aircraft,

British Airways owner International Consolidated Airlines said it ordered the planes to bolster its long-haul fleet after earnings rose.

British Airways’ parent company has bought 32 new Boeing planes from the US - a move that comes as part of the UK's newly brokered trade agreement with the US on Thursday.
