Week 13 in college football shook up the Atlantic Coast Conference with a loss by Georgia Tech, while other top teams moved closer to playoff spots.

The SEC took center stage in Week 12 with a pair of battles between College Football Playoff contenders, and the results of those ranked showdowns redefined the AP Top 25 poll for Week 13. Oklahoma and Georgia climbed closer to the top of the national pecking order with victories that kept them squarely in postseason contention.

However, when the November 24 edition of the AP rankings was released, it showed that the Hawkeyes have jumped all the way up to No. 11. This increase of 8 spots is the most out of any team this week, and shows that Iowa's successful start to the year is no fluke.

Purdue remained at No. 1 in The Associated Press men’s college basketball poll. The Boilermakers earned 46 of 61 first-place votes in Monday’s poll to remain at the top.
