On paper, the NFL’s 2025 Christmas Day schedule looked to be stacked. But Sunday’s slate of games was about the worst-case scenario for Netflix and Prime Video, the two streaming services with NFL games scheduled for the holiday.
Three games are set to be played on Christmas: Cowboys at Commanders (1 p.m. ET) Lions at Vikings (4:30 p.m. ET) Broncos at Chiefs (8:20 p.m. ET) The Dallas Cowboys and Washington Commanders will air on Netflix at 1 p.m. ET Thursday, Dec. 25, 2025.

As has been the case since 2006, there will be three NFL games this Thanksgiving. The Detroit Lions and the Dallas Cowboys, as is tradition, will host the early (1 p.m. ET) and middle (4:30 p.m. ET) matchups.
