Federal Reserve Governor Stephen Miran is leaving his post as chair of the Council of Economic Advisers, CNBC has confirmed.

Stephen Miran, who took a leave of absence from advising President Trump so he could become a governor of the Federal Reserve, said on Tuesday that he would resign from his White House post.
