COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Columbus Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday evening in North Columbus.
Officials confirmed Southern University’s campus is on lockdown for safety after a shooting incident on Sunday, March 2.
Officers responded to 20th and Ritner streets around 2:30 p.m. Sunday. They found a 56-year-old man inside of a BMW who had been shot in the head.
When responding officers arrived, they said they located one victim, suffering from non-life threatening injuries. Police said they were taken to local hospital.
