LANSING, MI -- The sixth largest Powerball jackpot of all time is up for grabs as the estimated grand prize for the drawing on Monday, Dec. 15 is worth $1.1 billion with a cash option of $503.4 million. Once again, MLive will provide results of the drawing shortly after it takes place at 11 p.m. EST.

But even if you’re not a big lottery winner in Saturday’s Powerball drawing, it’s still worth heeding this advice for managing a significant sum of money

The largest Powerball jackpot winner in Wisconsin was Miguel Franco, at the time a West Allis resident, who bought his ticket in 2019 at a gas station in New Berlin. That was for a $768.4 million Powerball jackpot. Franco received a lump sum payout of $477 million.
