The Atlanta Falcons have found their next head coach, naming two-time Associated Press NFL Coach of the Year Kevin Stefanski to lead the franchise into its next chapter.
Former Detroit Lions general manager Bob Quinn is following Kevin Stefanski to Atlanta. Quinn has been with the new Falcons head coach since 2021, while the pair were with the Cleveland Browns. Now, Quinn will serve as the senior advisor to the head coach as they start a new era in Atlanta.
The Falcons have hired a special teams coordinator. Atlanta announced on Monday that Craig Aukerman has joined the franchise in the role. Auckerman, 49, held the same role with the Dolphins in 2025. He was Tennessee’s special teams coordinator from 2018-2023 after working as the club’s assistant special teams coach in 2017.
