Two suspects are facing charges in connection with the shooting of a Houston Police Department officer over the weekend during an apparent road rage incident.

Christion Bingham, 23, reportedly wounded two women Wednesday afternoon at a Walmart in the 9300 block of Forest Lane, near Interstate 635. According to police officials, Bingham was pronounced dead at the scene of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

An off-duty Texas DPS trooper, Pedro Elizondo, was shot at Mall De Las Aguilas; suspect Ivan Rodriguez was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
