Rare game ball from Kobe and Shaq’s first title run hits auction
On Tuesday, TMZ reported that an especially coveted piece of Lakers history is heading to auction: a game ball from the 2000 NBA Finals. The ball comes from Game 6 of the series, the title-clinching matchup in which the Lakers closed out the Pacers with a 116–111 win.
They have been sustained by star point guard Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves, who has ascended to a star status this year. For the Clippers, they have one of the worst records in the conference due to two-time NBA Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard missing a majority of their games with a knee injury.
