A nonprofit school founded by Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, is closing. The Primary School in East Palo Alto opened in 2016 to provide free education to families in the area.

To “preserve the school’s legacy,” the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative said it will invest $50 million over the next few years in the East Palo Alto, Belle Haven, and East Bay communities.
