Police shot and killed a man who allegedly pointed a handgun at his child and officers at a northeast Albuquerque gas station

Authorities in North Dakota are investigating an officer-involved shooting Wednesday that left one person dead in Fargo. The Fargo Police Department said officers were responding to a suicidal individual at a south Fargo home when the encounter took place.

Chief Dave Zibolski said his officers were engaged in dialogue with a suicidal man when he came out of a home holding a gun. Multiple officers fired their weapons.
