Zoo Knoxville in Tennessee is celebrating the birth of a Western lowland gorilla, the first of its kind to be born at the zoo since 2016. The baby was born to a 27-year-old mom named Kumi.
The zoo says 12-year-old Nhi Linh will welcome her first baby sometime this winter, although it’s unclear if she will deliver a boy or a girl.
