Dell's XPS 13 2-in-1 is a little dated at this point, while the Samsung Notebook 9 Pen beneifts from its newer, more powerful components.

At least with the Dell Premium Active Pen, you know you've got both a great pen and one that will give you no issues with the XPS 13 2-in-1. It's also an excellent piece of hardware.

Dell's standard XPS 13 (9300) notebook and its convertible XPS 13 2-in-1 (7390) counterpart both start at about the same price and have a similar premium 13-inch design.
