More than 2,000 cases of chicken broth sold at Walmart have been recalled due to a packaging issue that could lead to product spoilage.

Walmart has recalled more than 2,000 cases of Great Value Family Size Chicken Broth sold in Texas and eight other states. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration reported the recall in December affecting the broth with a shelf life lasting until March 2026.

Walmart will continue its sky-high drone delivery efforts in Tarrant County, but this time with Zipline, the world’s largest autonomous delivery service, according to a news release. The Arkansas-based retailer is striving to serve 75 percent of Dallas-Fort Worth with drone delivery service.

FRISCO – Police have announced a second arrest in connection with a fatal shooting outside a Walmart in mid-November. Jada Mansfield, 24, of Dallas, is facing charges for her involvement in the Nov. 13 murder of Ja'Karrion Craig, according to Frisco police. Mansfield is currently being held in the Denton County Jail on a $1 million bond.

Walmart urges those who purchased the chicken broth to throw it away or return it for a full refund. The retailer is currently working with its supplier to investigate. According to the Mayo Clinic, using the recalled broth could lead to food poisoning, which includes symptoms like upset stomach, diarrhea or vomiting.
