Brent Venables and the OU football program have landed a big name to be the Sooners' new general manager in Jim Nagy, the executive director of the Senior Bowl.

Oklahoma has hired Senior Bowl executive director Jim Nagy to be its football general manager, leading the Sooners' roster building, player evaluation, recruiting and compensations operations alongside coach Brent Venables.

Oklahoma has hired former Senior Bowl executive director Jim Nagy to serve as the general manager of its football program, the school announced on Wednesday. Nagy is a nearly two-decade veteran in scouting positions with the Kansas City Chiefs,
