New York City mayor Eric Adams plans to file a lawsuit against the Trump administration after it revoked more than $80 million in funding for migrant shelters.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt suggests that the administration feels paying for the hotels isn't a worthy expense.

The court ruled that the Trump administration had a narrowly defined path to withhold some funds to the city that had been approved by Congress.
