Apparently all the money in the world can’t make your skin any thicker, because billionaire Elon Musk is whining again about unfavorable media coverage – this time from the CBS News program 60 Minutes.

CBS bandwagon late Sunday, accusing the network’s flagship investigative program of lying about DOGE’s raid at the United States’ international aid agency. The billionaire “first buddy” tweeted in response to an X post from 60 Minutes featuring an excerpt from an interview with a USAID worker fired during the Musk-led shutdown,

Elon Musk has come around to his boss' way of thinking, trashing CBS' "60 Minutes" and saying that the team behind the program deserves to be jailed. Musk's dander was up after the long-running newsmagazine shared a promotion of their segment on the proposed slashing of federal funding for USAID.

Since DOGE’s creation it has gone after cutting federal spending deemed by the Trump administration to be wasteful and unnecessary.

Elon Musk set up a website for his Department of Government Efficiency to track cuts to the federal budget, but it had a lot of trouble getting off the ground. The DOGE site went live on Feb. 12 as part of a commitment by Musk to be "as transparent as possible" but immediately appeared prone to a number of pitfalls.
