Xiaomi is set to host a live event on August 10 which will see the launch of the Mi Mix 4 flagship smartphone and Mi Pad 5 tablet series.
Xiaomi is again alive and kicking in the tablet market with two new models: Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 and Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro. They are two variants from the same series, but they are both high-end tablets.
The 5G enabled Mi Pad 5 Pro is available for pre-orders in Black Color, while the Mi Pad 5 is available in White, Black and Green colour options. Giztop will start shipping the pre-orders soon.
We assumed that the Mi Pad 5 is also coming on that date, and Xiaomi now confirmed that as well. In addition to confirming that the Mi Pad 5 is coming, the company also confirmed stylus support.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro also comes in a variant with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 flash storage. Android 11 comes pre-installed on both tablets, with MIUI 12.5 on top of it.
Xiaomi has also launched a new tablet, the Pad 5, and an NFC version of the Mi Smart Band 6 today.
