TCL's new 50 series of phones is reaching US shores with the launch of the TCL 50 XL 5G on Metro by T-Mobile tomorrow. At $159, it's one of the more affordable 5G phones available to date.
The new TCL 50 NxtPaper 5G base phone was announced Wednesday at IFA 2024 alongside a Pro model, both of which include 6.8-inch displays that feature what TCL calls a Max Ink Mode.
The TCL 50 XE 5G and TCL 50 XL 5G are mid-range 5G phones with 6.6- and 6.8-inch displays, respectively. Both have a 5,010 mAh battery, 50 megapixel triple-camera system, and dual speakers.
