After wrapping Stranger Things, Sadie Sink is set to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Spider-Man: Brand New Day, sparking widespread speculation about her character, according to Deadline.
More recent rumors have suggested Sink is playing Shastra, a multiversal shapeshifter, or other redheaded characters such as Punisher sidekick Rachel Cole-Alves or even Mayday Parker, the daughter of Toby Maguire's Spider-Man variant.
Sink, who is about to reprise her role in Stranger Things 5, will first appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, out on July 31, 2026. Avengers: Doomsday will continue that story on December 18, 2026, followed by Avengers: Secret Wars, which starts filming early next year, on December 17, 2027.
