The On-premises data gateway service is picking up some new PowerShell cmdlets in preview. These aim to automate gateway management tasks and require PowerShell core 6.2.2 or higher to run.

Microsoft has made this month's update for Power BI On-premises data gateway available. The firm has also made an announcement regarding support for previous releases of the gateway.

By updating Power BI Gateway, Microsoft provides a more user-friendly way of doing network health checks.
