Engineers at Flowserve Corp., Cookeville, Tenn., reinvented the nonlubricated plug valve to give it turning torques significantly lower than other plug valves and on par with those of ball valves.
It conforms to new ISO Standard 15407-2, which defines the valve interface for 18 and 26-mm valves with plug-in electrical connections. A wide range of pneumatic functions gives flexibility to users.
