A Japanese on Thursday died after snorkeling off Oslob beach in Cebu. Information from the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) identified the foreigner as Marinubo Kuriyama, 52.
Like Oslob’s ordinance, fees are set for entrance and various activities related to scuba diving, snorkeling, and even filming the animals.
A public hearing will be held this afternoon in Oslob town, southern Cebu, to explain to fisherfolk an April 15 increase in fees for visitors.
