Microsoft is expanding the capabilities of Teams Phone with a new extensibility preview that allows organizations to build and integrate custom call workflows using Azure Communication Services (ACS).

Ribbon's Microsoft Teams Direct Routing technology enables end-customers to securely connect external phone lines and use Teams as their office phone system.

The solution helps position Microsoft Phone System services as a replacement for traditional telephony services and other cloud Unified Communications offerings.
