Xiaomi is said to be rolling out the MIUI 10 update to another batch of smartphones including the four-year-old Xiaomi Mi 4, as well as devices from the Redmi and Redmi Note series.

Xiaomi has shed more light on the rollout process for the MIUI 10 global beta, confirming it will take place in three batches.

The MIUI 10 announcement today has also revealed that Xiaomi fans can start testing the update soon.

Head to the MIUI folder (as in step 5), choose the downloaded file and then tap on OK. Sit back and wait for the update to install and your phone to reboot. Congratulations, you are on MIUI 10!

The MIUI 10 update for the Redmi Note 3 is based on Android 6 Marshmallow with latest security patch from Google. The update weights at 261 MB for those who are on the latest build of MIUI 9.
