Flowers and messages of tribute continue to mount at Anfield stadium today as Liverpool FC footballer Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva were laid to rest in Portugal. LFC forward Jota, 28, was travelling with his brother, Andre Silva, in the Zamora region of Sanabria, Spain when the tragedy occurred on Thursday, July 3.

Opposite the famous ‘ Liverpool Memorial’ - dedicated to those 97 fans who lost their lives At Hillsborough on 15th April 1989 - on a small stretch of grass on the Anfield Main Stand concourse known as ‘97 Avenue’ dozens of black buckets were laid out to hold fans flowers.
