A new construction accident near Bangkok has occurred just 24 hours after a deadly train accident in another part of Thailand

US nationals among people injured in crash, State Department confirms. Two trains were involved in a head-on collision in the city of Cusco, near Machu Picchu, in Peru at around 1.20pm local time (6.20pm UK time). Emergency services rushed to the scene and at least 15 casualties were taken to hospital.
