Three Kentucky lottery players are starting the new year with big wins after matching five numbers in Wednesday's Powerball drawing.
Christmas came a day late for one lucky Kentuckian. A winning $2 million Mega Millions ticket was sold at the RaceTrac at 101 Bizzack Avenue in Frankfort for the Dec. 26 draw. Kentucky Lottery officials state this was also the Bluegrass State’s first top-tier Powerball winner of 2026. The ticket was sold at KT’s Smoke Shop. The winning numbers were 18, 21, 40, 53, 60 with the Powerball of 23.
