MSI has upgraded its latest AM5 motherboards with a unique feature: a supplementary 8-pin PCIe power connector for powering the next-gen GPUs.

With a new Supplemental PCIe Power feature, some new MSI X870E ATX 3.1 motherboards have an extra connector to boost overall board power.

Cowcotland visited MSI's booth and noticed an interesting addition to these boards. It seems all of them featured an 8-pin PCIe power connector located at the bottom of the boards.
