We know the Amazon app store for Android is coming—but did you know that you'll be able to download apps before you even own an Android device?

When you install the Windows Subsystem for Android, the Amazon Appstore is installed automatically as part of the process, making it the easiest way to install Android apps on a Windows PC.

We’re looking at the old “Hollywood” process to install the Amazon Appstore, one step at a time. Some of the steps are Amazon sign-in and download steps.

Moving on, once the Amazon Appstore is installed on your system and as this is not a legitimate Android TV app, you will need to scroll down to settings, and then across to ‘Apps’.
