Montville police have released video of what could have been a disastrous situation last week, when a dump truck couldn’t stop as it was approaching a school bus letting children out at a stop.

A mother and Lecanto Middle School teacher was killed and her three young children were hospitalized after a dump truck crossed into their minivan's path.

Authorities say the bus was carrying about 13 kids between the ages of 7 and 14 years old. Two of the children sustained minor injuries in the crash.
