For the second year in a row – and the second time this year – snowflakes fell in Florida.

The trace amount of snow received Jan. 18 in Pensacola came nowhere near the historic snowfall on this date in January 2025.

The Pensacola area saw trace amounts of snow early morning on Jan. 18, which means there were at least snowflakes falling to the ground and potentially a light dusting of snow on the ground at best.
