The coldest air of the season is on the way overnight. What does this relatively new "Cold Weather Advisory" entail?

BLOG: The ABC17 Stormtrack Weather Team has issued a Weather Alert Day for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as dangerous cold returns to the region. This may or may not coincide with accumulating snow as well.

A more potent winter storm for the weekend has been showing in the models for several days. Still a lot of uncertainty this many days out, but accumulating snow will be possible if the system tracks a little farther north.
