LG Electronics issued a recall for four 86-inch free-standing smart TVs that can potentially cause harm due to tip-over issues.

A safety recall has been issued for four models of 86-inch LG TVs sold in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico because the units could tip and fall.

More than 50,000 LG 86-inch smart TVs are under recall because they can tip over and injure or kill children or others, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced Thursday.

LG says some of their 86-inch smart TV models may become unstable on the provided stand. The company has had 12 reports of the TV's falling over.
