Classes at an elementary school in Sonoma County are set to resume Tuesday after vandals broke in early Monday and caused what was described as "extensive" damage.

John Reed Elementary School in Rohnert Park is closed Monday after a vandal broke in and caused extensive damage to multiple rooms, authorities said. The suspect remain at-large after forcing their way breaking into the school on Arlen Drive and causing “excessive vandalism” throughout, Rohnert Park police Sgt. Justin Wax said in a news release.
