Sacramento Kings guard Zach LaVine made it look so effortless against the Phoenix Suns in the NBA Cup on Wednesday.
After being outscored 41-18 in the first quarter, the Kings found a footing too little too late against the Suns as Mark Williams and Collin Gillespie posted a pair of 21-point games in Sacramento.
DeMar DeRozan led the way for the Kings in Monday’s victory as he ended the game with 33 points and four assists while Keegan Murray recorded 26 points and 14 rebounds. While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Wednesday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
Keegan Murray’s return gives the Kings a boost while the Suns search for answers after a late collapse Monday night.
The Kings will be without Domantas Sabonis - who suffered a partial meniscus tear in his left knee. He's expected to miss the next few weeks. Green has played just one regular season game while suffering multiple setbacks in his recovery of a hamstring injury that's hampered him since training camp.
